Our Farm-to-Table Process
Home raised
All of our meat is home raised and healthily fed, resulting in quality, flavourful products. We also finish all our own calves and sell directly to packers.
Competitive prices
We’ve put together consumer-centred pricing that’s especially competitive when you take advantage of our meat packs. When selecting your pack, you’ll see two prices: one is the individual, listed price and the other is a substitute price list for meat pack customers.
Professional abattoir
Our licensed abattoir performs all our cutting and wrapping. He also happens to be an experienced chef, so he can personally speak to the quality and taste of the meat he works with.
Naturally aged
Our beef is naturally aged for 21 days, a process that reduces water content and stretches muscles for premium tenderness. After being double-wrapped in plastic and brown paper, the meat is frozen fresh – locking in its flavour for more than a year. Store-bought meat will typically have 5% water content, but McMahon’s dry-aging means you won’t be paying for moisture and will get more meat for your money.
